My Subwoofers just randomly stopped working how do i find out whats wrong with them?

Bought a couple sub-woofers that were working pretty well but then just stopped working with no warning.. I don't think they are blown because i didn't have it loud at the time they quit... is there away i can see if they are blown? Or any ideas why they aren't working at all?
