Paralleling 4ohm sub-woofers?

no it does nothing of the sort. it only changes the resistance between the subs and the amp. the rms and peak stay the same. FYI the peak rms doesn't mean anything, if you put that much power to that sub you'll blow it. peak is for "burpping" the sub during some competitions.
