Woofer.Woven fiber woofer?

Not getting performance from my speaker which is a woven fiber.Getting shitty bass, clarity is crappy.The woofer is housed in a creative gigaworks t20.Even a cheap 2.0 system has better clarity.I read that woven fiber woofers need to be played for 1 month after what they give their their original performance.Is it so?.I tried different bass, treble and volume not much help.Any suggestions
