Should i install a new car stereo or home stereo?

i have a 1996 f150 and it currently has no stereo because it was token out.i have a stereo but it needs harness adapters and things like that. all 4 speakers work to my knowledge. i also have a home stereo which has small good 3 speakers and super woofer. and i have all equipment to install my home stereo . but I'm afraid my speakers would rattle around. what should i do?
