Polk PSW110 good for a big party?

I would recommend a professional type subwoofer. Those home theater subwoofer are not designed for a very large area. Best Buy with a musical instrument department should carry them. Look at a JBL or maybe a Peavey system. They are designed for large room and the bass speaker are designed for long throw. Hope this will help you out.
