My boyfriend doesnt text me like he use to?

okay so my boyfriend is in the army, he's up stationed a few states away, we knew each other from church i guess but started talking after easter. anyways when we were first talking he would always sent me goodmornings with smileys or mwah!s and always text me , hecame down for a few weeks and we spent the whole first week and really hit it off, he asked me out the first day we hung out, he has takn me to meet his parents and other stuff. maybe about a few days or a week after we started dating he doesnt text me as much, no goodmornings with smileys and herarely texts me ,he use to call but now since we dating never does. its not like it was, should i be flipping out? idk i dont feel like im his girlfriend or anything n i really like him, last friday he went back to hisbase and wont be back til september, so we got a dear john thing going on here. but should i be flippn out or worry? has he lost interest in me/? im into serious long relationships and idk , hes eighteen i think , and idk its prob stupid but you would think that a boyfriend would care and want to call his girlfriend and see how she is and stuff. am i wasting my time with him? plz honest opinions only
