Car audio question. about sub woofers?

I was wondering if i got two Alpine Type-R SWR-1242D 12'' subs would a single channel Alpine MRP-M1000 - Amplifier work well with them. also i was looking at either getting a Atrend E12Dsv vented box or building my own. I really have very little idea on how these things work so as much help as i can get is appreciated.
